BarRatio Terms of Use

Welcome to BarRatio (“the App”), operated by BarRatio LLC. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the App and related services. By using BarRatio, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years old to use BarRatio. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2. Use of the App

BarRatio provides live and historical analytics about nearby bars and locations, including crowd trend and composition signals. You agree to use the App responsibly and only for lawful purposes.

You may not:

• Use the App to harass, stalk, or harm others;
• Use the App as a dating or matchmaking service, or to seek, solicit, or facilitate romantic or sexual encounters;
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code;
• Interfere with the operation or security of the App;
• Use BarRatio data for commercial resale without written permission.

3. Location and Presence Features

The App uses your location to provide features such as nearby bar statistics and trending data. Presence and heartbeat features may record when your device enters/exits a venue and session duration for analytics. You can disable location access in device settings, but core functionality may not work properly.

4. Notifications

If notifications are enabled on your device, BarRatio may deliver service-related, operational, and feature-related notifications in connection with the Services. Delivery and timing of notifications depend on third-party platform providers and are not guaranteed.

5. In-App Purchases

BarRatio may offer premium features or subscriptions. Purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store and subject to their terms and refund policies. BarRatio LLC does not directly handle or store payment information.

6. Third-Party Services

BarRatio relies on third-party infrastructure and APIs (including Google Places, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and Apple subscription verification). Your use of those platform-backed features is also subject to those providers’ availability and terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, text, graphics, and content within BarRatio are the property of BarRatio LLC or its licensors. You may not reproduce or redistribute them without permission.

8. Accuracy and Availability Disclaimer

BarRatio analytics are estimates based on available data and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. We do not guarantee continuous uptime, exact crowd composition, or uninterrupted service.

9. Limitation of Liability

BarRatio is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BarRatio LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses resulting from use of or inability to use the App.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or deactivate access to the Services for any violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
